we all have something randome we just want to talk to some one about, this topic is for anythng and anyone to just get it out there. feel free to just fire away people.

Well, im curious as to what people think about the movie "Prince of Egypt" we are considering using it for educational purposes in the church youth-work

Personally, I never get tired of it. Lately I've been watching clips from it on YouTube like crazy. It's engaging, illustrative, and accurate but for a few minor historical details. It's entertaining too, especially the part where the two sorcerors are gloating with their whole song-and-dance number about how superior they are to Moses and meanwhile seem totally unaware that his snake just ate both of theirs.

I'ven seen it as a kid, and , personally, i never got the idea of it. Hm, I ain't saying that it's a bad movie, I think it's good, but I just don't get it.

I agree, whats not to get. Its a movie about the exodus, with awsome songs^^ Will keep using it.

Another movie with moral value, is the one called "Pay it forward" anyone seen that? We use that movie when discussing death,pain and sorrow. I saw it once, ONCE. I never want to lay my eyes on that movie again. It is too good. I cried for several hours.

I still recomend it though

Hmm. I 'll go see that movie. For the things that might have changed me, it was a musical video made by somebody, which included "Aria", russian metal band song called "The last sunset" (posledniy Zakat) I saw all the horros of a war.I think I 'm tough to motivate., but it touched me. made me THINK.

Another that might have changed me was "Olimpius Inferno". Again, the horror of a war of any kind. Since then, I'm trying to bring less harm to the people as possible.

Too true. The balance between pragmatism and idealism is a difficult one in just about any matter, but perhaps war most of all.
