Books that Touched your Life
If I were to name one book that's really been special to me, of course the Bible would be one right off the bat. I think my favorite verse would have to be Jeremiah 29:11, "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'Plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.'" Just thinking about God saying that to a nation as badly off as Israel was in Jeremiah's time, scattered across the face of the earth under the rule of foreign tyrants who neither knew nor cared for the true God... well, the realization that even in the worst of times God has a purpose in mind for His own is often the only thing that keeps me going when things get really bad.
It's also impacted my writing style, as anyone who has read my stories will see at a second look. Toby's sickness in Doom or Destiny, the frustrations with Loki in Pup Problems, and the various hardships endured from Suspicious Minds through A Time For Miracles, to name only a few, were shaped by my belief that God is best able to fix us when we are at our most broken.

Re: Books that Touched your Life
The "Inheritance" cycle would be my #1 series of books. Leaved me out of sorts from days. When I read, I live the story, become the character, think their thoughts. Better than movies

Ah! Silwer stole the lines right out of my mouth! (Even my NAME has to do with Inheritance.) But the story of Inheritance is one of the most inspirational to me when writing my stories and books, so yes, what Silwer said.
